The research findings revealed that the student teachers of Mizoram had above average level of social intelligence and there was no significant difference in terms of gender. The findings of the present study revealed that there were no significant difference between male and female on their level of patience, co-cooperativeness, confidence and sensitivity, recognition of social environment, tactfulness and memory. Abstract
