Abstract

The maturation of the individual, marked by the maturation of the human brain, is an important period in development, which extends over more than the duration of puberty: it begins at 2 weeks post-con-ception and is fi nalized at approximately 25 years, with girls having an advance in this regard. The maturation process is in direct correlation with the type of behavior. Adolescents’ behavior can be positively in fl uenced by the example of their parents and other adults they come into contact with during the process
