Abstract

The Feminism refers to the advocacy of women’s right seeking to remove restrictions that discriminate against women. It relates to the belief that women should have the same rights as men. On the basis of the novel »Das Leben ist eine Karawanserei, hat zwei Türen, aus einer kam ich rein, aus der anderen ging ich raus« by Emine Sevgi Özdamar this article questions the problems of the traditional images of women and gender roles in the modern era of Özdamar’s homeland from the viewpoint of feminist theory.
