Abstract
This article deals with the efficiency raise for power supply through using private power generators, taking into account ecological requirements and the modernization prospects of the energy industry. It presents the results of researching and evaluating the efficiency of chemical fuel cells for the autonomous energy supply of an industrial enterprise. Their design features, as well as the main advantages and disadvantages, are identified, and the existing types of fuel cells are compared and analyzed. The main focus is on the direct production of electricity in cells using molten carbonate. The results of calculations are given for fuel consumption rate, DC to AC transformation ratio, air consumption for fuel oxidation, per hour flow of the produced steam. The economic feasibility of the project is assessed. The results of the technical and economic analysis simplify economic assessment and help select the most preferable energy supply technologies using chemical fuel cells.
