ABORDAREA PREPOZIȚIEI ÎN GRAMATICILE LIMBII ROMÂNE DIN PERIOADA 1757-1954. PRIVIRE SINTETICĂ

Abstract

This article is a diachronic descriptive and analytical approach regarding the means of naming, defining and classifying prepositions in Romanian grammar works published from 1757 to 1954, i.e. from Dimitrie Eustatievici Brașoveanul’s Gramatica rumânească (1757) until Gramatica limbii române (GLR), published under the auspices of the Academy (1954). Our paper includes three parts. The first one follows the naming of the preposition in all Romanian language grammars during 1757-1954. The second section describes the means of defining prepositions in the relevant grammars and the third part reviews the classifications of prepositions inventoried within this linguistic system, in the studied period.
