Abstract

In a technology-oriented and information-intense world, one of the largest challenge is structuring, arranging and delivering the information in a coherent and usable manner via the World Wide Web. user centered design (UCD), in certain contexts, is the exact and restrictive interpretation of 'user' as hands-on user can be a hurdle to achieving development processes that are intensely use-centered, and products that better support end user in order to have better information systems delivery for stroke. The aim of this research is to insure that all the included information given through the Internet is what the stroke patients really need. This paper discusses several methodologies and techniques from user-centered design (UCD) chosen for eliciting the requirements. This research uses interviews, focus groups and card-sorting activities where these will be conduct among chosen user. This research will cover on participated three groups of users namely stroke caregivers, stroke rehab centers and stroke therapists. The paper presents a Web information system as a medium to deliver the information including a user-defined of two-level hierarchy of Web navigation structure.
