To obtain this feature, two optimized arc-shaped slot is embedded to the disk monopole UWB antenna. The normal type of disk monopole antenna is used to achieve the wide impedance bandwidth. An omnidirectional radiation pattern is also achieved, which enables the proposed antenna to be used in communication systems. Based on the full patch microstrip antenna which has ultra bandwidth for embedding a pair of double circular slots, the half patch antenna is obtained by cutting away half of patch radiator. Abstract
