Abstract

The paper presents the developed mathematical model of a spring electric drive with a multi-functional ability of the defectoscope, which has increased selectivity and resolution to the technological defects of the controlled product (oil and gas pipelines, their welds). The work of the spring electric drive for defectoscopes (SED) is based on the fact that the resistance to magnetic flux changes when longitudinal and transverse defects appear on the inner and outer surfaces of the product.
