Abstract

This paper presents a time-frequency synchronization algorithm in MIMO-OFDM system based on the special known preamble symbol. Due to the high date rate in next generation system, the synchronization performance is affected by multipath channel. In the paper, the IFFT characteristic of some special code is applied in order to remove the affection partially or completely. The detail synchronization procedure is presented in detail.
