Abstract

Vaccines can prevent or ameliorate infectious diseases morbidity and mortality. Vaccines generate immunity across the body as a whole, but they can also provoke specific immune responses in specific bodily areas. Vaccination includes various ways of administering immunogenes.  Edward Jenner is considered the founder of vaccinology.
