In this work, a novel approach, where only the dominant interfering signal is mitigated while ignoring the other interfering signals, is proposed. Interference-aware detector is proposed to mitigate the dominant interfering signal. In particular, successive interference canceler and joint decoder based interference mitigation strategies are investigated. Abstract
