Abstract

Two donor materials P3HT and ZnPc were used to realize photomultiplication (PM) effect in organic photo detectors (OPDs). The low concentrated ZnPc acts as isolated traps in active layer and helps to achieve PM in OPDs. The fabricated OPD showed high responsivity of 286.49 A/W at an operating voltage of -10V. This highly responsive detectors can act as a future guiding force on the field of image sensors.
