Several laboratory measurements were performed on induction motor and both diagnostics methods were used. The axial magnetic stray flux was measured by a special coil, mounted on the top of the fan cover, while the stator currents were recorded by an oscilloscope. All signals were analyzed and compared. Abstract
This article presents the comparison of two diagnostics methods, widely used for stator winding asymmetry detection. Several laboratory measurements were performed on induction motor and both diagnostics methods were used.
