Abstract
In examining the fresco decorations of the Palazzo Sampieri-Talon in Bologna, the final collective work by Ludovico, Agostino and Annibale Carracci, with later additions by Guercino, the article concentrates on the yet unresolved reconstruction of its iconographic programme.
