A novel asymmetric five-segment modulation strategy is proposed, which significantly eliminates the distortion of input current at the sector switching point and reduces the input current THD. Abstract
SVPWM modulation three-phase buck rectifier has serious input current distortion at the sector switching point, which results in serious total harmonic distortion (THD) of input current. The input current distortion is analyzed by considering the PWM driving signals at the sector switching point.
