Analysis on the industrial competitiveness of beijing based on the shift-share analysis

Abstract

At present, China's reform of the supply front during the new normal is a comprehensive strategic deployment that involves various aspects including industries, macro control, capital and the fiscal and taxation systems. Beijing as the capital has been in the forefront of reform. But there existed many problems in industrial structure in Beijing. The optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure of Beijing is the core of the government's new round of supply side reform. Elimination of excessive production capacity and industrial optimization and reorganization is the key to the current round of supply side reform. Based on SSM model, it discusses the status of industrial structure and industrial competitiveness of Beijing City. In this paper, we discuss the status of industrial structure and industrial competitiveness of Beijing City, and then determine the direction of industrial development in the future.
