Abstract
Abstract The origin of CP violation is still one of the unsolved problems of elementary particle physics. It is now widely accepted that the B meson system is the best place to test whether CP violation can be accommodated within the standard model. In this article, we summarise the necessary measurements to test the standard model using CP violation in the neutral B meson decays.
