Abstract
Russia’s desire to protect its national interests and ensure economic sovereignty in the context of the transition to a multipolar world has encountered stiff resistance from developed economies led by the United States. In order to neutralize the negative impact of external factors as much as possible, the country began to focus on solving the accumulated problems that determine internal development. It turned out that in order to raise the economy to a competitive infrastructural and technological level, there is an acute shortage of personnel with a systematic economic education and able to organize the interaction of all spheres of the economy and society. That is why it is important to identify which links are missing in modern Russian economic education, what its structure and content should be.
