In this paper,theauthorsproposeanapproachbasedonmodeltransformationtoapplyformalverification techniquestodemonstratethecorrectnessofsystemdesigns.Atthefirststep,theydescribereal-time systemsbystatechart(machine)diagrams,assourcemodelstogenerateRT-Maudemodels(target models).Thesecondstepistousetheresultmodelstoverifythereal-timesystemsagainstspecified LTLpropertiesusingMaudeLTLModel-Checker.Thisapproachisillustratedthroughanexample.
