Abstract

The localization accuracy of the wireless sensor network node is improved by introducing the virtual anchor node, so the virtual anchor node is constructed and applied by many researchers to optimize the localization algorithm further. This paper presents the broad definition of the virtual anchor node and indicates its significance in the wireless sensor network node localization; the wireless sensor network node localization algorithm based on the virtual anchor node is introduced mainly in two aspects of constructing the virtual anchor node and its application in localization.
