The mechanical structure/arrangement of the machine is ideal for in-wheel and other volumetrically limited spaces. Abstract
Switched reluctance machines (SRMs) are leading candidates for propulsion applications. This paper presents a design in the context of application for a new class of SRM entitled DSRM (discrete switched reluctance machine).
