Some considerations about time delay estimation of seismic signals

Abstract

In this paper the problem of signal source localization is considered. The signals are generated by footsteps and received by seismic sensors. This problem is encountered in unauthorized intrusion applications. The footstep detection and localization is based on acquired seismic signals and based on time delay estimation between these signals.
