Progress in an integrated millimeter wave radio project

Abstract

The work presented here is a first step toward developing a low cost integrated receiver for LMCS applications. Measurements on the amplifier sub-circuit and circuit analysis on the rest of the receiver suggest that this configuration is feasible for this application. By combining the components, the antenna, the amplifier and the mixer and DRO with that of simple deposition of ceramic onto the MMIC, it will be possible in the future to make an integrated radio.
