Data analysis techniques in This research has two stages, namely the first stage of analysis before the field in the form of preliminary observations and interviews, the second stage is analysis while in the field which contains three stages, namely data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study: (1) the efforts of the head of administration in improving performance of school administration staff at SMPN 12 Sijunjung in the form of: coaching/guiding, by directing in carrying out tasks, facilitate training such as workshops or workshops annually, present supervisors, and conduct evaluations for improvement. (2) power school administration at SMPN 12 Sijunjung has made efforts to improve performance by participating in training activities such as training, workshops and workshops. Improvements are also made by sharing knowledge with colleagues. (3) Supporting factors for improving the performance of school administrative staff are in the form of: providing motivation from the leadership and self, good work discipline, compensation from the leadership and sanctions for mistakes.
