The system reliability is computed at different potentials of DR to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed DR and thereby profit analysis of the system is carried out. Abstract

The penetration of renewable resources influences the demand-supply balance of the system and the mismatch that arises needs to be reduced to a possible extent by the approach of Demand Response (DR). In this work, the idea of DR is proposed by the load management technique. The concept of load shedding has a huge impact on the system’s reliability. The proper and advanced scheduling of the load according to energy availability helps to eliminate the unnecessary load shedding.
