Switched capacitor and regenerative boost converter is a high voltage gain converter consisting lossless passive components and less number of semiconductors, which results in obtaining high efficiency. Accordingly, the study has executed Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller, which is embedded with generalized Perturb and Observation (P & O) technique with SCRB converter. The present paper has implemented P & O based MPPT algorithm in MATLAB SIMULINK by connecting a SCRB converter with a solar panel. Additionally, a SCRB Converter connected with solar panel with MPPT and without MPPPT also compared. Abstract
The research paper introduces Switched Capacitor and Regenerative Boost (SCRB) converter in solar systems.
