Abstract
Smart Grid is the most recent studied precinct in the field of modern power systems. Smart grid innovation includes but is not limited to smart meters, smart substations, distribution equipment, and smart generation. It utilizes the most recent information and communication technologies considering the IEC61850 standard. It relates to current world data modernization and integrates digitization. Additionally, the smart grid has an inherent self-healing feature and consists of modernized infrastructure which ensures paramount safety in power delivery. This paper presents the noteworthiness of smart grid networks and its principal significance has also been examined. Power systems administrators must work their system with a high level of productivity and dependability. The Smart Grid idea has been acquainted with feature elective, innovated innovations that may convey noteworthy advantages of Transmission Distribution systems. The paper outlines smart grid advances inside this segment as far as innovation availability is better than various technologies which are relied upon to be sent sooner. The paper also abridges the drivers behind the improvement of a smart grid by presenting certain innovations with viable applications and advantages.
