Abstract

This paper presents a smart and cost effective EV (Electric Vehicle) charging methodology for residential dwellings which have renewable energy sources. The proposed method has many benefits, including reducing peak pressure on the grid, delivering cost savings to the consumer, as well as reducing battery degradation and preventing overcharge, increasing battery lifetime.
