Abstract
this paper proposes a scheme for conditioning and processing of signal from a pre amplifier EMG sensor. An electronic system is devised to help the experimenter working with EMG sensor by Motion Labs. Signal conditioning and processing strategy is carried out in three main stages; first one being the amplification of signal acquired from a muscle activity. In the next stage, this amplified signal is rectified and in the end, it is further processed with a controller. The developed system would be helpful for both, the candidates interested in research and experimentation of signal conditioning and processing of EMG sensor manufactured by Motion Labs. The developed controller algorithm is used to convert frequency based sensor input into magnitude based output which is then filtered to smoothen the response.
