This work intends to examine the “ABNT” – Brazilian Association for technical standards rules – the exercise of its delegation from the Public Power, the standards publication and the limitations of this exercise in front of the activity of technical standardization in view of Brazilian institution, having account that this activity in one way restricts the exercise of certain fundamentals rights like the initiative and industrial liberty and otherwise intend to protect the exercise of other fundamental rights such as the right of life, of security, of health an de environment
