Thesis, Wonosobo: Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Central Java University of Al-Qur'an Science in Wonosobo.This thesis aims to: 1) determine the application of the PAI teacher assessment at SMPN 2 Mojotengah Wonosobo; 2) knowing the development of religious moral character of class VIII A students at SMPN 2 Mojotengah Wonosobo; 3) determine the effect of the PAI teacher assessment method on the development of religious moral character of class VIII A students at SMPN 2 Mojotengah Wonosobo.This thesis uses a qualitative research approach where the type of research is descriptive. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Then, the data sources were obtained from primary data sources and secondary data (direct interviews with research subjects, as well as documentation in the form of photos, data, notes, and so on).
