Abstract

The development of a nuclear power advanced control room includes the improvement of previous generation alarm system designs. The Nuplex 80+ Advanced Control Complex alarm methodology utilizes redundant and diverse fixed-location and CRT alarms. These alarms are grouped by panels and presented on system and function display pages to support operator tasks.
