Objectives: In this study, the implementation and development challenges of telehomecare are examined. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted with a content analysis in 2022 in Iran. Twenty-three participants were selected by purposive sampling. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. Data were analyzed by content analysis (conceptual analysis) method and MaxQDA-10 software. Results: Five categories including costs imposed, rules and standards, infrastructure, health information security, and sociocultural were identified as challenges to the implementation and development of tele-homecare. These five categories were divided into 19 subcategories. Conclusions: The implementation and use of tele homecare is face with several challenges.
