ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE LEVEL REGARDING MENOPAUSE AMONG MIDDLE AGED WOMAN

Abstract

Background: Menopause is an essential part of female reproductive lifestyle’s cycle. It is the physiologic cessation of menses associated with declining ovarian function. It is usually complete after one year of amenorrhea. Various menopausal symptoms experienced by middle aged women and it affect their quality of life. Many of them do not know how to cope up with this situation. Objectives: To assess the knowledge of menopausal women regarding menopause and to find out the association of level of knowledge of menopausal women with selected variables. Materials and methods: Non-experimental descriptive design was adopted for this study.
