This flexible technology allows the realization of a coder that can process input datarates from a few hundred Kbit/s up to 8 Mbit/s by simply changing the following local elements: the low-cost crystal-oscillator and the output lowpass-filter. The second part of this paper describes a method which has not been realized in hardware yet. Abstract
