Abstract

The existence conditions have been investigated for the subsonic acoustic waves guided by different types of contact between identical piezoelectric crystals of arbitrary symmetry: 1) Perfect sliding contact; 2) vacuum gap separating the two crystals. In addition, we have analyzed specific features of the bulk wave resonance reflection in gap structures stipulated by simultaneous excitation of two leaky modes.
