Abstract

The fossil fuels generate by burning dust that conduct to environment’s pollution. For household and residential boilers and stoves that burn wood and fossil fuels (coal or other fuels) can be used the cylindrical-type electrostatic precipitator to diminishing the pollution. The type of high voltage sources used to supply electrostatic precipitators largely determines their collection efficiency. The paper presents the main high voltage sources that can be used to supply cylindrical-type electrostatic precipitators used in low power boilers (up to 50 kW) in the home and residential sectors.
