Abstract

A secure, portable and affordable IoT module, designed for control of electrical appliances and security surveillance has been discussed in this paper. The module development primarily focuses on increasing convenience and feasibility for remote control using the Internet Of Things (IoT) principles. It also incorporates multiple sensors within the module to provide a 24 hrs security monitoring solution. The objective of the work is to build a system for homes that is robust, reliable, affordable and dedicated to easing the lives of people through the use of recent advancements in IoT.
