Abstract

Within the conception of green energy spreading more and more the wind generated energy became a promising source of electricity. The connection of wind parks to the net however causes problems concerning the stability and the quality of electro energy. The work of power system is sensible to the disturbances in the net and it is necessary to provide the low voltage ride through of wind synchronous generator consists from permanent magnets by the help of system devices like STATCOM. Using a mathematical model it is investigated the behavior of the generator and compensator by different disturbances in the net. Using different approaches and algorithms their control is investigated.
