Abstract
The ring modification of arylfuran-2-carbaldehydes with anilines in the presence of an acid yielded a variety of diarylpyrrole-2-carbaldehydes. Elemental analyses and spectroscopic methods (FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C-NMR, and MS) were used to characterize the produced compounds.
