Abstract

Body area network (BAN) is becoming burst through technology which utilizes wireless sensors in several ways as, on around or in a human body. These sensors create interface with human and a central processing system, between which communication is established. Body area network is capable of handling various services like smart healthcare, sports, intelligent decision-making, entertainment, military, and emergency situation detection. A smart wearable technology is being developed by making improvements in technologies such as sensing, wireless communication, nanotechnologies, and scaled down the system, which can observe the activities of human beings constantly.
