[Myxoma of the maxilla--a case report].

Abstract

2 cases of maxillary myxoma are reported. These extremely rare tumors of the maxillo-facial region have a high rate of local recurrence. The widely discussed classification into odontogenic and osteogenic myxomas seems questionable and has no therapeutic implications.
