Abstract

In recent years, an increasing number of studies have been published in the scientific literature on the problem of the adverse effects of residues of pharmaceutical substances in the habitat of aquatic and mariculture objects. The identification of pharmacological compounds, including their by-products of transformation, is still an open question, which determines the need to expand current scientific research to assess the impact of pharmaceuticals, their metabolites and transformation products on the aquatic environment.
