Abstract

Transportation is one of the most sectors requiring the use of a clean energy. This has made design of electric and hybrid vehicles a particular challenge. Several machines are intended for this purpose according to different criteria such as the efficiency, power density, robustness, reliability, cost, etc. In order to ensure good energy management, the mastery of the control is requested. It is essential to take into account all the different disturbances, especially the parametric variations of the motor. In this paper, the control of Induction Machine designed for hybrid electric vehicles is presented. Focus is made on the indirect stator flux oriented control by using the conventional and the fuzzy controllers. A spectral analysis of the torque and the current will be highlighted in order to clarify the advantage of the use of fuzzy logic.
