Abstract

This paper describes a new method for Lower side-lobe level for a linear antenna array using bat algorithm. The algorithm obtains lower side-lobe level by changing the position of the array elements with uniform spacing. Bat algorithm is compared with the genetic algorithm, and the simulation results are shown below. The bat algorithm converges faster and more easily to obtain an optimal solution. At the end of the article, we used different numerical comparison examples to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method.
