After analyzing the corresponding energy usage and effectiveness, it is determined that SSLS can help with some of the drawbacks of conventional lighting. Three different scenarios have been applied by using the CupCarbon simulator, to comprehend the function of ZigBee and how it is used to conserve electrical consumption. Abstract

People’s proclivity to migrate to large urban areas, particularly in recent years, has resulted in a slew of economic, social, environmental, and organizational issues. A city’s street lighting is one of the most fundamental aspects of its design since it improves the quality of life and provides a sense of security for people at night. Municipal lighting, on the other hand, is a major expense for both the environment and society. There are many technologies used in the smart street light system (SSLS), either combination of short-range (ZigBee and Bluetooth), or long-range communication technologies (PLC, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, 5G).
