Abstract

This paper dwells upon optimizing a daily energy consumption profile of an industrial building. The goal is to reduce energy costs by minimizing electricity consumption during peak load hours and optimizing the scheduling of building engineering systems. EnergyPlus is used to simulate the energy consumption of the building.
