Abstract

Modern society is in significant need of more efficient and functional sensor networks that can improve the safety and quality of everyday life and the environment. This paper proposes a Wireless Communication System architecture to monitor the potential pollution from a petroleum refinery and water canal Danube-Tisa-Danube in river Danube, located in an urban part Novi Sad town, to achieve better energy efficiency while forwarding data packets consistently.
