Abstract

The contemporary knowledge society requires ever newer, more up-to-date, and higher quality educational content, based on the latest trends in the development of human society and responding to its needs. One of the most important human needs is without any doubts the need for security, which is the reason why it is necessary to focus attention on security education within higher education (lifelong education). Therefore, the author, in his contribution, focuses on the certain specifics of the education of internal and external students at the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava in the field of security management in the context of current hybrid threats, which is provided by the Department of Informatics and Management.
