The edible film of areca nut extract made an evaluation included organoleptic, thickness, brittleness, water content, pH, and swelling test. The evaluation results of betel nut edible fim extract showed almost the same characteristics as the edible fim that had been circulating in the market which was used as a comparison. The presence of antibacterial activity from edible pinang seed extract is marked by the formation of clear zones. 槟榔籽提取物的配方和测试食用抗菌制剂(Areca catechu Linn)
摘要槟榔提取物所含单宁酸能抑制变形链球菌的生长。为了便于使用槟榔籽提取物作为抗菌药物,将其配制成浓度为2.5%、3%和3.5%的可食用薄膜。采用溶剂铸造法制备可食用薄膜,采用血琼脂扩散法测定抗菌活性。对槟榔提取物的食用膜进行了感官、厚度、脆性、含水量、pH值、溶胀试验等评价。槟榔食用膜提取物的评价结果与市场上流通的食用膜具有基本相同的特性,并作为比较。食用槟榔籽提取物的抗菌活性表现为形成清晰的区域。2.5%、3%和3.5%槟榔浸膏膜的抗菌食用活性测试结果显示,清净区平均直径分别为14.96 mm、15.49 mm和17.05 mm,属于强清净区。关键词:槟榔,抗菌,食用膜,单宁,链球菌
